24 Yellowfin

Here in Northwest Florida our bays are just like “mini Gulfs” with seas commonly 2-3 feet with a chop on a bad day, so picking the right boat can be a little tricky.  You need something that will run in a sea, fish shallow, and is quite on the flats.  That’s why I choose the 24 Yellowfin.  It meets and exceeds what I need in a good guide boat.  The boat has massive bow space, true dry storage, with triple live wells.  Just about everything you need to provide for your anglers.

Sight fishing in our extremely clear waters justified the addition of a full tower with controls making my job that much easier.   When it comes to power and speed this boat has got it, easily running 60 mph with a loaded boat in just a foot of water!  This puts everything in our bay within striking distance on a half day trip.

That is why I find this boat to be one BAD DOG.  I have high hopes of building another one in the near future.
